We're gathering not just for the music, but for a cause that resonates deeply within our community. This event champions the mission of the Augusta University Neuromuscular Clinic to support research and care across a spectrum of neuromuscular disorders, including ALS—a condition that one of our beloved regulars, Matt, and his wife Marlee, know all too well—and Myasthenia Gravis, another critical focus of our support.
"In the face of ALS, my husband and I have embarked on a journey filled with challenges, but also with an abundance of love, strength, and humor," Marlee shares. "ALS may have stolen my husband's physical abilities, but it could never touch his infectious laugh and unwavering spirit. Together, we face each day finding joy in the simple moments and humor in the most unexpected places."
Their story is a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of our collective effort to support ALS research and all those affected by neuromuscular disorders, including Myasthenia Gravis.
